Helena Township Meeting Notice
With recent changes announced by Governor Tim Walz on Thursday May 8, 2021, it is the intention of the Helena Township Board of Supervisors to return to in-person meetings at the Fire Hall in New Prague effective with the July 8, 2021 Regular Monthly Meeting. These meeting will follow guidelines related to masks, social distancing and hand sanitizing. If you would like to attend a future meeting, and do not wish to participate in-person, please contact Clerk DeAnn Croatt at 952.758.4505 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
On March 23, 2020 Resolution 032320 “Establishing the Ability to Conduct Open Meetings by Telephone” was unanimously adopted. This is in alignment with COVID-19 CDC guidelines, Executive Order 20-01 “Declaring a Peacetime Emergency and Coordinating Minnesota’s Strategy to Protect Minnesotans from COVID-19”, and in an effort to protect the safety of township officers, employees and citizens.
Helena Township Meetings are held the first Thursday each month and will start at approximately 7:00 – 7:15 PM. The Chair will ensure a quorum is present prior to calling the meeting to order.
When a Work Shop is needed, it will be set at the Regular Monthly Meeting, and will be the third Thursday of the month.
