Local Events

Helena Township is excited to partner with Cedar Lake Township to host a free Tire Disposal and Paper Shredding Event on Saturday, September 13th, 2025 from 9am - 12pm.  The event will be at St. Patrick Social Hall, next to St. Patrick Catholic Church, located at 24425 Old Highway 13 Boulevard, Jordan, MN 55352.

In this joint effort with Cedar Lake Township, tire disposal and paper shredding fees are paid for through grant funds from Scott County.  Art Johnson Trucking Inc. is donating their time and trailer to collect and transport the tires.
